San Antonio Friends

While in SA, I stayed with Carol in her new amazing house. The idea was that I was supposed to help her decorate, but we ended up playing all week instead. (oops)

Here is the lovely Carol on her new second hand couch.


And Jose is breaking in the chair (and looking at God knows what)

We went and visited Gwen down in Houston. Me, Carol, Gwen, and Jose all stayed at Carol's parents' house.

It was so good to see Gwen. Jose started watching the Spurs game, and us girls escaped to the pool and had some "girls-girls" time (that's a Ghanian term)

This was Carol's shining day...

She started by dumping a margarita all over me- you can see the wet spot down my skirt...

Later she fell down some stairs and walked into a parked car... (and apparently licked my ear, too)

Amazingly, Carol did not fall or injure anyone while doing this stunt...

Aquarium Photos

And I have no idea how to organize these photos, so we're going to work according to species. Not a whole lot of cool stories behind these, but lots of neat photos.

Ok, so here we are, painting the town red...

Here we are, bored while we wait for the dolphin show (my camera is a source of endless amusement)...
